Fukuoka is located in the northern part of Kyushu and has developed as a transportation hub connecting Kyushu and Honshu. It faces the Genkai Sea and Hibiki Sea in the north, the Suho Sea in the northeast, and the Ariake Sea in the southwest, and more than 5 million people live in a land rich in nature. Many seaside courses have been created that take advantage of the topography of the coastline, mainly in the densely populated Fukuoka and Kitakyushu areas. Fukuoka has a well-developed railway network, but it is basically a car society, so cars are a convenient means of transportation to the golf course. The plane is smooth to access the Fukuoka. There are two airports in the prefecture (Fukuoka Airport and Kitakyushu Airport), and Fukuoka Airport is close to the city Distance and is highly convenient. From the Kinki and Chugoku regions, it can also be accessed by the Sanyo Shinkansen. The stops in the prefecture are Kokura Station and Hakata Station. You can also take the Kyushu Shinkansen from Hakata to the Chikugo area. The stops are Kurume Station, Chikugo Funaya Station, and Shin-Omuta Station.
Fukuoka Prefecture's golfing base is undoubtedly Hakata, Kyushu's largest downtown area. Central Fukuoka Golf Club is located within 15 kilometers of the Chikushino Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway, making it easily accessible from Hakata. The clubhouse will be renovated and reopened in December 2023, further enhancing its reputation. Kaho Golf Club Club, located in Iizuka City in the Chikuho region, will also renovate its clubhouse in July 2024, and is gaining popularity among women and younger generations.
